DANGER TO EXPRESSES
OBSTRUCTION ON LINE WORK OF SMALL BOY [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION'] TE AWAMUTU, Saturday Last evening, a few hours before the Main Trunk expresses journeyed southwards, surfacemen discovered a piece of iron on the rails a few hundred yards north of Te Awamutu railway yard. The obstruction was sufficiently large to cause the derailment of any engine. Investigations bv the police* and railway officials revealed this morning that the obstruction was placed there by a lad 8J years of ago while playing.
