PROSPECTS FOR EASTER MANY VISITORS EXPECTED [BY TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT] 1 • ROTORUA, Friday A large influx of visitors is expected in Rotorua for the Easter holidays. The chief attraction will be the South Auckland brass bands' contest. Bands from Hamilton, Thames, Te Kuiti, Cambridge, Tauranga, Whakatane, Pukekohe ;l Morrinsville, Ngaruawahia, Te Awamutu, Te Aroha and Rotorua will take part.

Apart from the scenic wonders and thermal activities, the native villages of Whakarewarewa and Ohinemutu are always a source of interest and ente'rtainrnents by the Maoris will be given. The Railway Department will run excursions at reduced fares from Auckland and other places. The hotels report good bookings.
