OLD PONSONBY RESERVOIR
Sir,—The suggestion that the disused reservoir at the corner of Karangahape Road and Ponsonby Road should be converted into public baths appears to me outrageous. That this site—one of the best business positions in New Zealand —should be left unused for so many years is one of the scandals of the city. Shops there would command big rents and help to reduce rates. This matter should have been investigated long ago by the City Council. Conte de Fee.
