FIRE DESTROYS HOUSE
FEW EFFECTS SAVED OUTBREAK NEAR HIJNTLY [by telegraph —OWN correspondent! HTJNTLT, Wednesday A six-roomed houss at JRotonga.ro, about nine miles wesi; of H'lintly, was destroyed by fire at .1.30 p.m. to-day. The house was owned and occupied by Mrs. J. M. O'Sullivan and hex two sons, who went to Huntly earlier in the day and returned in time to see the roof of the house collapse. The fire was discoi r ered by an employee of the Raglan County Council, who gave the alarm to a number of power board workers;. Together they broke through the windows and saved a few personal eifects.
The furniture and other contents were insured for £4OO.
