MARKS FOR AGRICULTURE ! "We have already moved along thes'j lines," said the chairman, Mr. T. U. Wells, at a meeting of the Auckland Education Board yesterday when a letter was received from the Seddon Memorial Technical College Board asking, for Bi\pport for the principle of according additional marks to agriculture in examinations conducted by the Education and the New Zealand University. It was decided to writs to the Minister of Education supporting the Technical College Board's proposal. It was. reported that £3013 was available itf ; the maintenance fund up to March 31, and that the manual ana technical fund was £1774 in credit.
