OIL COMPANY'S REQUEST DECLINED BY HARBOUR BOARD A -request that the Auckland Harbour Board should reconsider its recent alterations to pilotage rates to give relief to»oil tankers using the port was contained in a letter received by the board yesterday from the Shell Company of New Zealand, Limited. It was stated that oil tankers were of a tonnage only sligh'tly affected by the proposed reductions.
