NOVEL ENGLISH SCHOOL FIFTY GIRLS AS PUPILS LONDON, March 1 Unique in Britain is a women's college at Tetbury, Gloucestershire, where 50 pupils, rich young women from many countries, and aged between. IS and 25 years, arc taking a one-year's course in " the art of living." The pupils live in an old mansion sot amid 600 acres of grounds, in which are several tennis courts, a swimming bath, a nine-hole golf course, and facilities for horse-riding. Many of the pupils have their own motor-cars. All of them study biology, physiology, hygiene, elementary psychology, domestic science, dressmaking, first aid and dietetics. Many of the girls are engaged to be married, and these pay a. visit each week to Bristol baby clinics, to loarn the arts of motherhood. All take turns at running a household, doing all the shopping, cleaning, laundering and cooking. The fees are £SO a term.
