BALOKOVIC CUP RACE; The 180 miles ocean yacht race for the' Balokovic Cup, which was to have started last evening under the control of the Akarana Yacht Club, was abandoned owing to insufficient entries of suitable boats. RACE TO MATIATIA LARGE ENTRIES RECEIVED Eighteen boats have entered for the cruising race for keel yachts to Matiatia to.be held by the Devonpovt Yacht Club. This is one of the best fields which will h av . e started this season and a very close race is anticipated. will bo declared this morning.' the entries being as follows:—lorangi, Waitangi, Nga Toa. Thelma. Rawene. _ Victory, Prize, Waione, Vida, Janet, Mahaki, Ladye Wjlma. Jcanette, Mangawai. Kotuku, Argo, Kotiri and Windward.
