OVERCAST AND SHOWERY COLD SPELL INDICATED The Government meteorologist reported last evening as follows:—A depression now lies just east of New Zealand. wh/le a moderate anti-cyclone is centred over the south Tasman Sea. Indications are for southerly to south-east-erly winds, strong in places about and north of Cook Strait; elsewhere light to moderate.
