LADY NORAH JELLICOE
Jn writing of the en& gement recently announced between Edward William Rhys Wingfield, 60th "iflos, only son o.f'the late Captain C' .. T. It. Wingfield, 60th Rifles, and Lady Violet Wingfield. and Nornh, dr lghter of Admiral of the Fleet Earl Jellicoe and Countess Jellicoe, our London correspondent states that the former is 28 years of age, and was educated at Eton and at the Royal Military .College. His lather, a descendant of the fourth Viscount Powerscourt, was a captain in the King's Royal Rifle Corps when he died of wounds in 1915. Lady Yiolet Wingfield is an aunt of the present Earl Poulett. Lady Norah and Mr. Wingfield met when the latter was on holiday in the Isle of Wight last summer. They have not yet decided when the wedding will take place.
