PRESENTATION
Mr. C. F. Woods, second clerk of the Customs Department, at Auckland, has been transferred to be first clerk at the Christchurch office. Mr. Woods was bidden farewell by the Auckland staff on Friday evening and the presentation of a travelling rug was made on behalf of the staff by Mr. J. Mcintosh, collector of customs. Mr. Woods left for Christchurch by train last evening.
