In his possession were found several packs of cards, loaded dice, "crown and anchor" equipment., double-headed pennies and other material for gambling. Accused stated in explanation that at the tune ho stas'ed at the boarding house he had no money. He had stayed there before and had always paid. In the present instance he "had intended to pay and did not have any intention of defrauding the proprietress. Accused was convicted and discharged on the first charge and was sentenced. to six weeks' imprisonment on the second charge.
