GAMING ACT CHARGES
FOUR MEN ARRESTED REMANDED UNTIL TO-DAY Following a raid on premises in Union Buildings, Customs Street, by Detectives A. Moore and F. J. Brady, on Saturday afternoon, four men were arrested and charged with breaches of the Gaming Act. Alexander Alderton was charged with using premises as a common gaming house, and the others were charged with being found on tho premises. The four men later appeared before Mr. A. J. Stratford, J.P., and were remanded to appear in tho Police Court this morning. Alderton was allowed bail of £SO and tho threo men charged with being found on the premises were granted bail of £3 each.
