COMMITTEE TO REPORT % ' [iTIOJI OUR OWN CORRESPOND EXT 1 HAMILTON, Friday [ A suggestion that a carnival should J be liold in Hamilton was considered at { a meeting of the Hamilton Carnival • Association Committee last evening [ Mr. W. J. King presided. After considerable discussion it was " decided to set up a sub-committee to prepare a detailed report regarding the . holding of a carnival for aweck, nofc ■ earlier than the end of September, and that the sub-committee's proposals should be presented to a general meeting on April 12, at which business men, representatives of sporting bodies and > other interested persons, will be invited ' to attend. i The following were appointed to the t sub-committee -.—Messrs. -J. G. Bateson, J A. Craig, E. F. Clayton-Greene, W. J. . King, E. 11. .lioskruge, A. E. Sandford, E. P. ,T. Trevena, E. L. AVatkins r and F. W. Watson. The first meeting ■ of the committee will be held next ; Thursday evening.
