THE HACK CUP CONTEST RACE BEARS OPEN ASPECT / / CALIENTE WELL FANCIED A pood class field of hacks Tvill contost- the Matamata Hack Cup at the Matamata Racing Club's meeting today, and the event is creating a great Seal of interest, as the issue appeal's very open. The majority of the candidates have shown some form at recent meetings and among those who have been racing well are Caliente, Teels, Gay Broney and Last Lap, all of whom should be capable of forward showings. D'Artagnan has been working very satisfactorily, and, although he now makes a noise, may go well. Teels is a recent winner and should have good Prospects if she repeats the form she displayed at Pukekohe.
