Mrs. Humphrey Clark, of Remuera Road, returned this week from a visit to Wellington. Mrs. Spencer and Miss B. Spencer, of Symonds Street, are spending a holiday in Rotorua. Miss Lesley Waller, of Maurice Avenue, RemueVa. left by motor yesterday for Rotorua. Miss Doris Tills, of Ridings Road, Remuera, has returned from six weeks holiday spent at Opononi. Mrs. T. H. Mrs. Alfred Kidd, president of the Auckland Trained Nurses' Association, left last evening to attend the nurses' conference to be held in Dunedin next Wednesday. She was accompanied by Miss Bagley and Miss Clements. An unusual work for a girl is undertaken by Miss Bessie Wilkinson, daughter of Superintendent James Wilkinson, of the Windsor police, Ontario. Canada. At the age of 18 years Miss Wilkinson is sufficiently skilled in the science of finger-prints to be abb to take her father's place as identification expert when he is away on leave.
