HARBOUR BRIDGE SCHEME
ACTIVITIES OF COMPANY Every condition Imposed by London financiers in connection with the harbour bridge scheme has been complied with by the Auckland Harbour Bridgo Company, Limited, according to a statement made by Mr. A. Harris, M.P., yesterday, on his return from Wellington. "All information required, and statements asked for from the Auckland City Council, the Auckland Harbour Board and the Northcote Borough Council, have now been supplied," said Mr. Harris. A cablegram of a satisfactory nature, the contents of which he could not at present reveal, had been sent by the Government to the High Commissioner in London, to be forwarded to the financial interests concerned. "Nothing further remains to bo done at this end," said Mr. Harris. "The next move is from London."
