SNAKE EATS CANARIES
REPTILE TRAPPED IN CAGE Mrs. J. J. Forck, of Trungley, New South Wales, lately discovered a snake in her canary cage. The canaries wero missing. The snake was killed, and a post-mortem examination revealed that four birds and two eggs had been swallowed whole. The snake's meal brought about his downfall, for its girth had increased tc such an extent that it was unable to escape through the wire of the cago. It thus was an easy victim for the owner of the canaries.
