LONDON WEDDING
BAILEY—MORANT [FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT] LONDON, Dec. 20 Tho marriage of Miss Margaret Mornnt, only daughter of tho lato Sir .Robert Morant and Lady Morant, 15 Chester Terrace, Eaton Square, to Dr. E. E. Bailey, D.Phil., of London House, Caroline Place, London, eldest son of Mr. E. A. Bailey and Mrs. Bailey, of Auckland, took place at St. James', Spanish Place, on Decombor 19, Father d'Arcy officiated, and Lady Morant, wearing a coat of deep hyacinth blue cloth with a velvet hat to tone, gave away her daughter. The brido's gown of pale gold brocado was designed with a longslcoved bodice and a trained skirt. Her tullo veil was held with a wreath of Christmas roses, and she carried lilics-of-the-valley and white orchids. Joan do Gripenberg, the littlo daughter of the Finnish Minister, carried tho train. Tho other two attendants were Arabella Wardley and Jessica Horniman, both of whom wore long frocks of gold lame, mado with long, closefitting sleeves. Wreaths of holly were worn on their hoads, and they carried posies of tho same berry. Dr. Franz Wien-Claudi was best man. After tho ceremony, Lady Morant held a reception at 46 Park Street, which was lent by Mr. and Mrs. Victor Blagden. The honeymoon is being spent abroad.
