GAOL FOR NOVELIST
CHARGE OF HIGH TREASON HERR RENN'S PUBLICATION Timeß Cable LONDON, Jan. 16 The Berlin correspondent of the Times states that the famous novelist Herr Ludwig Renn was charged with high treason in Leipzig to-day. Herr Renn was sentenced to 30 months' imprisonment, less the 11 months he has served already. The charge arose out of Herr Renn's publication of an article alleged to have been corruptive to military discipline.
