TOUR OF NEW ZEALAND - [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION'] WELLINGTON". Wednesday A civic welcome was given to-day to a party of 42 visitors 'from \ ictoria, mostly members of the Victoria Scottish Union, who are making a tour of the Dominion. The Hon. A. Hamilton, Minister in charge of the Tourist Department, extended a welcome on. behalf of the Government. He said such visits helped greatly to advertise the scenic attractions of New Zealand. Senator W. Plain, in returning thanks, said the party had spent a very happy time in New Zealand. Ho made reference to the need tho extension of Australian and New Zealand markets for primary products, and emphasised the possibilities of increased trade with Great Britain.
