REMOVING FRUIT STAINS
Rub dry starch into fruit stains on table linen immediately, and you will then find that the stains are easy to remove. If, however, they have been on for somo time, try soaking the stained portion in a strong solution of borax for a while, and then wash in the usual way. Fruit stains will almost always yield to this treatment.
