ROTORUA

Mrs. S. Blackley and family, of Wellington, have taken a house in Pukuatua Street for several weeks. Mrs. Daveson and Miss I. Giorgi. of Palmerston, who have been in Rotorua for the past fortnight, have now motored home via the Chateau. Mrs. M. D. Carr, of Omania, Te Ngae, who has been on an extended visit to England, has returned to her home. She is- accompanied by her two sons, lan and Peter. Mrs. R. P. Spedding and family, of Hinemoa Street, are spending a caravan holiday at Mount Maunganui. Miss M. Grant, of Christchurch. who has been visitinc her sister, Mrs. P. A. Kusabs, of Ruihi Street, has returned to her home. Mrs. T. B. Clay, of Auckland, is visiting Rotorua and is the guest of Mrs. Nelson Clay, Whakarewarewa. Mrs. R. A. Potter has returned to her home in Grey Street from a holiday spent at Takapuua. Mrs. C. Hodges and her two dauchters, of Auckland, who have been spending a holiday in Hastings, are visitinc Rotorua for a few days before returning to their home. Mrs. C. Young and Miss Clivena Young, of Tutanekai Street, have left by motor for Thames. They will later visit Waihi Beach. Mrs. A. E. Moore, of Pukuatua Street, is spending a holiday at Mount Maunganui, as the guest of Mrs. 11. P. Spedding. Mrs. Clive Mellor has returned from an extended holiday in England, and has taken a house in Sophia Street. Mrs. P. Blackburn, of Melbourne, accompanied by Miss C. Campbell-Smith, of Nelson, is spending a holiday in Rotorua.

Mrs. C. Jacob, of Auckland, is at present on a visit to Roto'rua, and is a guest at Brents. Miss Clara Sliarpo, of Pukuatua Street, has been spending a holiday at Orewa, and is now visiting her sister. Mrs. D. Kaye, Hamilton. Mrs. Murdofch Smith, of Auckland, is visiting Kotorua and is at the Grand Hotel.

Mrs. A. C. Dannefaerd is visitinc Kotorua, and is the guest of Mrs. M. Dannefaerd, Ranolf Street. Mrs. H. Cooney, of Whaka Road, is spending a holiday at Ohope Beach, as the guest of Mrs. Gordon Kent, of Whakatane.

Miss Jean Pearce, of Fenton Street, has returned, to her home after a holiday spent in the North of Auckland, and at Waiheke Island.

Miss Ailsa McKenzie has returned to Rotorua after a holiday spent at Mount Maunganui.
