DANCE AT THE PIRATE SHIP
The annual dance of the Devon port United League Football Club was hold at the Pirate Ship at, Milford on Saturday evening, and was well attended by members and their friends. Tho' guests were received on arrival by Mrs. A. Ferguson, wife of the president, who wore a frock of black ring velvet with coatee to match. The dance music was supplied by the Pirate Ship orchestra under Mr. Hartley, and included modern and old-time numbers. The members of the combined committees were responsible for the arrangements. Among those present were: —Mrs. A. Gerrard, who wore a frock of pervaneo blue ring velvet and georgette; Mrs. A. Saxon, cardinal red satin beau to; Mrs. L Seagar, beigo georgette; Mrs. S. Casey, almond green floral'georgette; Mrs. 11. Doble, lido blue satin beaute; Mrs. C. Guaid, black ring velvet; Mrs. M. Scott, figured chiffon velvet; Mrs. Manning, orchid lace; .Miss -1. Scott, floral voile; Miss Leo, black ring velvet; Miss Andrew, daffodil frilled chiffon.
