THEFT OF RINGS
TAKEN FROM TWO SHOPS \ , ARREST MADE BY POLICE [BY TELEGRAPH —rRF.SS association] GREYMOL'TH, Monday A man entered two jewellers' shops to-day and stole rings. Asking to see engagement rings at Mr. Tennent's shop, he distracted Mr. Tennent's attention and removed a ring. He then left, saying he would bring his fiancee to see the one he liked. Mr. Tennent later discovered the loss and informed the police. The man then went to Mr. Gilvert's shop in the next block. Adopting similar tactics he secured a ring worth £27. Later the police arrested a man.
