OPERATIONS AT WHANGAREI [bt telegraph—OWN correspondent] WHANGAEEI, Thursday Applications in "Whangarei for building permits under the No. 10 building scheme totalled 138 in the past fortnight, and only six have been refused. The total cost involved in the permits issued was £35,722, of which the labour cost amounted to £10,490 and the sub* sidy to £4315. CAMBRIDGE APPLICATIONS - ' TOTAL VALUE OF £12,350 [from our own correspondent] CAMBRIDGE, Thursday Fifty-six applications for the building subsidy were received in Cambridge, the total value of the work being about £12,350. About 20 now cottages are included in the applications.
