Mr. Tyler submitted the following schedule of plantings along the city foreshore duriug the past two years:—• Tamaki Drive, 400 trees; Mission Bay, 222; St. Helicrs, including Dingle Dell, 578; Parnell Park, 676; Point Erin Park, 100; Harbour View Reserve, Point Chevalier, 631; total, 2607. "Every opportunity is taken to employ labour under the No. 5 scheme on this work," added the engineer.
