RIFLE SHOOTING
WHANGAREI MINIATURE CLUB [from our own correspondent] WHANGAREI. Thursday The Whangarei Miniature Rifle Club held a shoot last evening for the Executive Cup. The trophy was won by A. D. Jack, with the Bcore of 100, 2—102. Other good scores were:—J. Courtney, 95, 6—101; E. A. Higgins, 100, 1—101; R. Hughes, 96, 4—100; J. King, 95, s—loo. Tho A grade Buckley Rooster was won by E A. Higgins, with tho possible 100 off the rifle, defeating the holder, M. Stewart, with 99. The B grade Buckley Rooster was retained by J. Courtney, with 95 off the rifle.
