UNSETTLED CONDITIONS SEVERE FROSTS INLAND ' i . The Government meteorologist re. ported' last evening as follows :--An intense, anti-cyclone is advancing across the Tasman Sea, but a cyclone which developed last night in the far north is centred to-day off East Cape. Kdic a . tions are for moderate to strong south, erly winds of gale force at places m the North Island, but decreasing gradually. Seas heavy between Cook Strait and East Cape and in the South Taranaki bight; elsewhere rather rough to rough.
