CRICKET IN ENGLAND
COLLAPSE OF M.C.C. . FAIRFAX BEING REPLACED (Received September 13, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 12 In the cricket match M.C.C. v. South of Englatid at Folkestone to-day the former in the second innings were dismissed for 55 runs. Freeman took eight wickets for 22. South of England won by an innings and 32 runs. At Scarborough Leveson-Gower's team, playing against West Indies, made 196 for five wickets declared in the second innings (Wyatt 83). West Indies in the second innings made 251 (Da Costa not out 70). Verity took five wickets for 87. Hammond, with possibly three more innings, requires 1245 to pass Hayward's record aggregate of 3518. The Accrington Club has signed on Dick Tyldesley for 1934 to replace Fairfax.
