ALTERATION OF RIGGING Extensive alterations are being mad«v in the rig of the Gisborne Sheersfarmers 1 motor-vessel -Margaret W.,. now at Bang's Wharf. Since the vessell was built 14 years ago she has been rigged as a four-masted schooner. The after-mast, or jigger-mast, as it is; called, is hollow and is used as a funnel for the exhaust gases from the.' motor engines. This mast will be shortened by 16ft. and the fore, main and mizzen masts will be removed and replaced by two new kauri masts, which: will be fitted in the places of the maim and mizzen masts.
