The sale will continue until Friday, and a total of 301 bulls will be offered. Of this number, 212 are yearlings, and 89 are two years and over. To-day's offering comprised 64 bulls, and 46 were sold at an average price of 33 guineas. The top price in the ring was 101 guineas, paid by Mr. W. L. Cato, of Waipu, for "Finvoy Handsomo Lad," which was sold on account of Mr. J. D. Reichcnbach, of Gisborne. This is stated to be tho highest price •paid for a bull in the ring this season. A higher price was realised by the private sale of "Silver Marquis" on account of Mr. Truby King, of Stratford, after it hud been withdrawn from the ring at a figure below the reserve. The purchaser, Mr. C. J. Lovegrove, of Auckland, paid 135 guineas for the bull. Before the sale commenced the various classes were judged. The grand championship was won by Mr. J. A. Mitchell, of Longburn, with "Brampton Coy Volunteer." The senior championship was won by Mr. Truby King, of Stratford, with "Silver Marquis," and the junior championship by Mr. A. Montgomerie, of Te Kauwhata, with ■"Glendale Silver Prince."

Yearlings, class four: J. A. Russell (Palmerston North), 1; A. Horn (Ohau), 2; Miu. A. Banks and Son (Feilding), 3. Yearlings, class five: A. and J. O'Donnell (Taranaki), 1; R. Sanderson (Otorohanga)2; H. V. Benge (Feilding), 3. Group of thwxs yearlings: R. L. Horn (Ohau), 1; A. and J. O'Donnell (Taranaki), 2; A. Moreland and Sons (Te Rapa), 3.

The following bulla realised 85 guineas or over:—"Sanfa Rosa Golden Viola," on account oI J. A. Mitchell (Longburn), to H. Hopkins (Hinuera), 80 guineas; "Glendale 4 Silver Pi'ince," on account of A. Montgomerie (Te Kauwhata), to the Fanners Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Limited, as agents, 77 guineas; "Perfection's Prince Cecil," on account of A. and J. O'Donnell (Inaha, Taranaki), to ¥. T. Luxton (Matangi), 50 guineas \ "Ku Ku -Bon Emperor," on account of R. L. Horn (Ohau), to Simmons Bros. (Kar&mu)., 53 guineas; "Ivondale Blue Blood," on account of P. J. Peterson (Waitara), .to J.
