MURDER AND MYSTERY
It is somewhat annoying to tho ardent reader of mystery murder stories to find that the \*Tong man has been murdered, but this is what Father Ronald Knox" causes to be done in The Body in tho Silo."" Father Knox has written some excellent mysteries previously, and his latest will be welcomed by those who like a wellconstructed plot, written with close regard to accuracy. An unusual feature of the book is the fact that when the case is being brought to a conclusion and a previous significant conversation or happening is mentioned, a footnote indicating tho page of the original conversation is given. Tho idea of using a silo for the venue of a murder seems quite original, and certainly will give justification for many people's curiosity m asking " What is a silo? " " The Body in the Silo," by A. Knox. (Hodder and Stoughton.)
