SLENDERISING EXERCISES c Shoulders may be broad this summer, but hips certainly not, if the new streamline, dresses and swim-suits are to be worn successfully. The following exercise will help to slenderise limbs, waist and hips. Balancing the weight by holding the back of a chair,' try the toe-and-heel steps of the famous Russian folk-dance. That is, jump in a semi-kneeling position from the bended left foot to the bended right foot, allowing the extended foot to remain in that position for a few - seconds befofe changing over. Waist and Limbs are exercised as follows:—Holding the arms above the head, step to right and\ left, bending tho knees in lunging fashion.
