THE NEW STOCKING-CAPS
The new stocking-caps, knitted plain in almost straight pieces like ordinary stocking tops, are becoming increasingly popular, and it is amazing how widely they may be varied and in what different ways they may be adapted. The one illustrated gains originality by the aid of contrasted stripes.
The " jelly-cap " has a piece turned back and secured with a large safetypin. The " sunbath " style allows the hair to show at the top, as in the style illustrated.. The "pirate," on the other hand, is pulled well down to one side and fastened with a fancy pin; while a new version of the fez is tied round the middle tf ith a contrasting cord.
