Froggy Hole

By AILSA QLARK, Hobsonvillel. Aged 17. (Original). I'm hopping round in circles, 'cos do you know what I've found? A creepy, little, gloomy hole, that runs deep in the ground! It couldn't be a fairy's house, or anything like that; Ooh! maybe 'tis a goblin's home — I'm sure I see his hat! But what is that? I hear a noise, ('tis just a teeny sound) - Then out there spring two cold wet frogs, to play upon the ground. They leap about with such delight, 'tis really awful fun / To see them playing " shadows " with the last rays of the sun! I stand so still —so vpry still—till I just have to play; A flick of feet, a flash of green, they vanish right away. I peer inside to find the two, hut 'tis as black as coal; Now all that's left to prove 'twas true, is little Froggy Hole.
