YESTERDAY'S SALES RETURN ON INVESTMENTS Following is a list of yesterday's transactions on New Zealand Stock Exchanges. In tho second column is given the return, based on tho last annual dividend, from investment at the quoted price. In calculating tho return on shares in which pay their dividends outside New Zealand the exchange rates have not been taken into consideration. The return on 4 per cent Government loans includes redemption. In the caso of 3J per cent loans the return is for interest alone, and covers only the period for which tho loans are tax-free. No return is given on local body securities and debentures in the meantime.
