THE SALE OF WHEAT
SUPPLY TO " FREE " MILLS RESTRICTIONS CRITICISED [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] INVERCARGILL, Friday The question of selling wheat to "free" mills was again raised at today's meeting of the Southland Executive of the Farmers' Union and tho majority of members was agreed that tho Wheat Purchase Board's restrictions were not justified. A resolution presented by the grain and seeds committee was carried. It was as follows:—"That in the opinion of this executive there was 110 justification for the Wheat Purchase Board restricting the sale of wheat to mills and this executive urges upon the board the urgent necessity of immediately removing all restrictions (excepting as to price) upon the sale of wheat to flour mills."
