NEW SECRETARY APPOINTED [by telegraph—pbess association] WELLINGTON. Thursday Mr. G. R. Ashbridge has been appointed secretary of the New Zealand Educational Institute in succession to Mr. H. A. Parkinson. Mr. Ashbridge has been assistant secretary for five years and is tho first person outsider tho teaching profession to fill the position.
