Albany nominated Mrs. Treby for the executive committee and appointed Mrs. God ley delegate to the annual council. Mrs. Cullen, of Waimauku, gave a talk on gardening. Buckland had as guest Mrs. 0. English, who gave a graphic account of her travels and described her visit to Oberammergau. . Glenbrook Institute enjoyed two humorous sketches and a demonstration of picture making with tinsel paper, given by Mrs. L. Robinson. Helensville derived much interest from beautiful handicraft bv Misses Bennet and Park, of Port Albert. Matakana's roll call—"ways and means of improving the meetings" was very suggestive. Tho competition was the best arranged vase of spring flowers.
Maungaturoto had a song-guessing competition and a ro-makiug bee. A lecture on first-aid was read.
Paparoa received suggestions for improving meetings. Mr. Nicholas gave a travel talk on Belgium. A sub-commit-tee was formed for relief work.
