TYPES OWN EVIDENCE ■ i In a deposition case before the Court at Malvorn, Melbourne, recently, Mr. F. W. A. Cremoan, the clerk in Petty Sessions, had to give evidence. A colleague offered to relieve him, but Mr. Cremean said that he would get through all right. He typed the answers as well as the questions .put to him, and at the end of his evidence he read the depositions to himself. Satisfied that he had made an accurate transcript of his evidence, he signed the depositions. Mr. Cremean is a direct descendant of Daniel O'Connell, who oiice said that he could "drive a coach and four through any Act of Parliament."
