Sir, —-Two things emerge from recent correspondence 011 the above subject. I'he first is that Mr. Earls Vailc has grasped the great truth that rent is a < natural law which you can 110 more eliminate than you can still the titles. Henry George taught him that. The ( other is Mr.„ Vailo's failure to see that production, both rural and urban, under present conditions pays two rents, where one would do. The first troes to tho landowner, the second to the public treasury in tho shape of taxes. When .\!r. Yaile appreciates this ],js economic education will lie Hearing completion. C.H.N.
