MUNICIPAL BAND
Another Hne programme will be submitted at the Municipal Band concert to-morrow evening - in the Town Hall, Miss Gwladys Edwards, soprano, and Mr. Len Barnes, baritone, will be the assisting artists. The former will be lieard in Amy Woodforde Finden s "Kashmiri Song "and '"Still as tno Night" (Bohm), while Mr. Barnes will sing Sullivan's "Thou Art Passing Hence" and Schumann's " The Two Grenadiers." The band's items will ineludo Offenbach's " Orpheus in the Underworld, 1 ' Sullivan's "H.M.S.. Pinafore," Greig's " Peer Gynt " suite and lighter numbers. Mr. Eric Waters will be the accompanist. A popular programme will be given by the band at the Zoological Park to-morrow afternoon.
