FAMOUS OARSMAN'S WILL
Kstate valued at £78,951, with nel personality £75,951, was left by Dr. Gilbert Charles Bourne, the famous Oxford oarsman and coach, who died on March 9. He rowed for Oxford against Cambridge in 1882 anal 188J, and coached the crew from 1885 to 1927. He was father of Captain Robert Croft Bourne, M.P. for Oxford City, who himself stroked the Oxford crew for four .years. Dr. Bourne left all his land in th« county of Hereford ;\ to his son., and the residue of the estate, together with the use of his heirlooms, ui trust for ■ his wife.
