DINNER SENSATION
SMOKE ROLLS INTO ROOM 'EXCITEMENT AMONG GUESTS (Received August 3. 5.5 p.m.) DUBLIN, Aug. 3 Dense rlouds of smoke rolled into a room from the basement of Leinster House, Dublin, where the guests at a dinner givfcn by the Fianna Fail Party to Mr. de Valera were assembled.
Those present included two women members of tho Dail. The guests were singing the Irish Free State national anthem at tho time. Scenes of excitement followed a rumour that an attempt had been made to set fire to tho Dail. However, it was found later that the outbreak had been caused by a cigarette igniting some waste.
