MAORI CHAMPIONSHIPS LADIES' CONTESTS DECIDED [BY TELEGRAPH —I'RESS ASSOCIATION] WAIROA, Thursday The New Zoalund third annual Maori golf championships were continued io-day in fine weather on tiio local links. The teams match for tho Parker Gold Cup was won by South from North by 20 strokes. The following ladies reached the semi-final of the championship:—Mrs. B. Hadfield, Mrs. A. Tarelia, Mrs. M. Ropiha, Mrs. Kurupo Tareha. The finalists were Mrs. Hadfield and Mrs. Kurupo Tareha, the winner being Mrs. Tareha. In the junior championship the finalists wero Mrs. Kapi Tareha and Miss N. Tareha, tho winner being Misß Tareha. In the men's championship the following qualified:—Kuru. Kinai Winiata, W. Kingston, W. Desha, J Tareha. J. Mupu. K. Tareha, M. Kuru, J. Hnpe, J. Carroll, A.
