UNION OFFICIALS ELECTED [by telegraph —OWN correspondent] "WAIHI, Thursday A ballot was taken yesterday for the election of the president and committee of nine of the Ohinemuri Mines and Batteries Union, papers being issued to members at Waihi, Waikino and Owharoa. The results are: —President: Mr. E. Dye, 296 (reflected); Mr. W. Lynch, 165. Committee: Messrs. N. Smith, 336: A. Williams, 32-5; D. Fahey, 322; L. Kirk, 314; W. Osborne, 305; J. Higgins, 300; J. Munro, 299; W. King, 280; H. Horner,. 271 (elected); J. Dowse, 242.
