JARDINE'S CRICKET BOOK
BODY-LINE BOWLING PUBLICATION IN THE HERALD An interesting contribution to the bods'-line bowling controversy will be Mr. D. R. Jardine's book, "In Search of the Ashes," the sole rights of which have been secured by the Herald. Sir. Jardine has written a very frank account of the recent tour of the English cricket team in Australia trom the captain's viewpoint, and daily instalments of his book will appear in the Herald,, commending in the next few days. In view of the present* situation in England, where the adoption of body-line tactics by the West Indians in the present; series of test matches has raised the question of the ethics of this type of bowline anew, the views of this great English player will have added interest. . *
