gj r . —Can you tell me if Koliimarama t>r "Kohimaramara" is the right namo for our Auckland marine suburb?. It was always known as Kohimarama at one time, but, of recont years, so many people call' it Kohimaramara that one wonders what it really is. An Old Aucklander. [Sonic Maori authorities' say that Kohimaramara was the authentic name in Maori tradition. Hut the name Kohiniaraiiia has been used since European times, and evidently always has been the official name. According to usage, .thcrcforo, Kohimarama is the correct name.—Editor, Hf.rai.d.]
