NUMEROUS ARRESTS j"HE TRANSPORT HOLD-UP (Received July 27, 6.5 p.m.) y BERLIN, July 27 The transport hold-up in Germany yesterday is alleged to have resulted in tho discovery of an enormous quantity of illegal literature, ammunition, weapons and secret messages. Those arrested include Communist couriers and foreigners with false passports. This is regarded as proof that enemies of tho State are systematically crossing the frontier. SHIPPING DIRECTORS ARYANS REPLACE JEWS HAMBURG-AMERICA LINE BERLIN, July 26 The Hamburg-America Line has elected a new board of directors and replaced Jews with Aryans. A Nazi has replaced tho chairman, who, in his farewell speech, v admitted that the company was suffering from foreign hostility to Hitlerism.
